Diplomat Collection is owned by the fourth generation of the Malmström family, who have owned and operated a total of nine hotels both in Sweden and internationally since the 1930’s. With over 90 years of experience and passion for creating memorable hotel experiences, the Malmström family has become one of the leading actors in Sweden’s tourism and hospitality industry. In the 1960’s, the family founded the iconic Hotel Diplomat on the beautiful Strandvägen. In 2021, Villa Dagmar opened its doors on the vibrant Nybrogatan. The latest addition to the family, Villa Dahlia, is set to open in the autumn of 2024 and will invite guests to a curated home where history is visible in every detail.
